Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of iciclraddo.com (the "Site") and any subscription services offered by Iciclraddo Media Ltd. By accessing or using the Site, or by taking out a subscription, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Site or subscribe to our services.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or purchase a subscription. By subscribing, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

The free areas of the Site may be accessed by users of any age, subject to compliance with these Terms and applicable law.

We provide news and feature content covering entertainment and leisure, travel in England, relationships and family, and health and nutrition, some of which is freely available and some of which is available only to paying subscribers.

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site or the content and features available at any time, including the balance between free and subscriber-only content, subject to reasonable notice where practicable.

We offer paid subscription plans priced at £14 per month or £150 per year (inclusive of any applicable VAT), giving access to subscriber-only content and features. Prices may change from time to time, and we will give you reasonable notice before any change takes effect for existing subscribers.

Payment is taken in advance using the payment method you provide at sign-up, via our third-party payment processor.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually, as applicable) at the then-current price, unless you cancel before the renewal date.

We will attempt to notify you by email in advance of any price increase applicable to your renewal. If a renewal payment fails, we may suspend or restrict access to subscriber content until payment is successfully processed.

You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings or by contacting [email protected]. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access to subscriber content until that date. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for the unused portion of a billing period, except as set out below.

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Charges) Regulations 2013, you have a statutory right to cancel your subscription within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason, and to receive a full refund.

Please note that if you expressly request immediate access to subscriber content and acknowledge that this constitutes a waiver of your cancellation right, your right to cancel and receive a refund for that content will be lost once you have begun accessing it, in accordance with the digital content exception under the Regulations.

Nothing in this section affects your other statutory rights, including those under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in respect of digital content that is not of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, or as described.

We operate a metered or hard paywall model for certain content, meaning some articles are freely accessible and others require an active subscription. We may vary which content is free or paid from time to time.

We do not guarantee that any specific article will remain freely accessible or will remain available at all, and archived content may be moved behind the paywall or removed at our discretion.

You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its systems, sharing your subscriber login with others, using automated means to scrape or extract content, uploading unlawful, defamatory, obscene or infringing material, or interfering with the proper functioning of the Site.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, without refund, if we reasonably believe you have breached this section.

• No sharing of subscriber account credentials with non-subscribers.
• No scraping, bulk downloading or automated extraction of content.
• No posting of unlawful, defamatory, abusive or infringing content in comments.
• No attempts to circumvent the paywall or security features of the Site.

Where we provide facilities for comments, reviews or other user-generated content, you remain responsible for the content you submit and grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, display, reproduce and distribute it in connection with operating the Site.

We reserve the right to moderate, edit or remove any user content at our discretion, including content that we consider unlawful, defamatory, offensive or in breach of these Terms.

All content on the Site, other than user-generated content, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws, as further described in our Legal Information page.

Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access subscriber content for your own personal use. It does not grant you any ownership rights in that content.

We aim to keep the Site available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may suspend access for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our reasonable control.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify subscribers of material changes by email or via a notice on the Site, and continued use of the Site or your subscription after such changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

The Site and its content are provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis, subject to our Disclaimer, which forms part of these Terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with your use of the Site or your subscription shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, save that nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

We may suspend or terminate your account and subscription if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or fail to pay applicable subscription fees, in each case with notice where reasonably practicable.

You may terminate your subscription at any time as described in the Cancellation and Refunds section above.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory protections available to you as a consumer in your country of residence.
